Interesting, also I wonder if she know, Tyff is now Tiff.

So…she at least knows that Tiff is stronger than Will. By a lot. To the point that Will probably has no chance in a fight. Very interesting…

Maybe Red knows how vicious Tiff was. Wyll-line sure looked white in the face last time we seen him.
Something tells me Tiff was more than just a bad a!s in his male years.

    And Red cares about Will.

Maybe I should re-read from the beginning.

Anybody else notice that the wooden village has suddenly become nice stonework? The north may have a leak.

It has not been prooven yet that Red Diane is Niels’ niece

Hmm, I wonder if she’s responsible for that “contract” on Tiff?

The red haired woman knows who their father was, and what his ultimate fate was. It’s likely she doesn’t want a repeat performance.

I think there’s more to it than just knowing how tough our heroine is. Looks to me like Diane is sweet on the Chieftain.

Perhaps she knows that, with her skill as a hunter, she could kill Wyll-line and she knows that Tiff is much more skilled and experienced than she is so she assumes Tiff will win. Clearly she doesn’t want that to happen.

@Guesticus; I set up Diana’s relation and introduce her character here: http://www.exiern.com/2013/01/24/get-stacking/

    @ Mazon.
Obviously “The Dreamer” dreamt up a better class of village for them.

I wonder if this is going to be where “something’s going to give”. Also, what’s with Diana’s complete lack of faith in Wyll-Line?

We never saw Wyll-Line fight , EVER! But they say she Diana is the greatest Fighter in the tribes… And some one butchered the three Guys that ordered her MOM’s Death… What would you do to the 3 scums that killed your Mom? Real Shame as a Girl she would get in trouble for it… BC that would be a problem… Unless she had a front guy. Sorry thought it was obvious. Wyll-Line to much bluff. The Guys is scared to death.

In answer to the question about the village “upgrade,” this might be the only permanent structure there. Looking behind them when the scene is not facing that building, I see what looks like tents.

ChemicLord: Oh right, forgot about that, has Niels actually met her before now? Was just taking a short lap in the Archive pool, and believe it was only The `Pole who met Red Diane previously

I believe they said something like she took the hair color of her father and fathers name was Eric the Flame now if a color of hair worths mentioning than it should be something rare and Niels shows that he can add 2 to 2 even if he does not know now he can make the guess in a few minutes if not seconds.

@Guesticus: This is the first time he’s met her face to face. He knows OF her, and will soon be able to attach a face to the name he’s heard (in this next page coming up in face, he’ll hear her name, in fact).

I kind hope she dose get caught for Regicide and banished.

Diane if she banished I wonder if Niel gets to play Dad?

Why banished instead killed? Well Wyll-line must be covering for her for anther the 3 chief were hated for the Purifying.

And anther after killing 3 of the toughest in single combat who going to challenge her?

Must of been the will of Ash.. But still it will be a problem is she stayed as woman can not be chief in this tribe and Wyll-line is doing a good job..

    So ….

I would love to see Niel Diane Duke it out!

My theory is this 3 morons murdered Diane’s mom. So she was 9 or 10 at the time? Every day she Trained. Everyday got ready. But she is a girl so she can not challenge to be chief(IE Slawter them) 🙂

Then Wyll-line to challenge them and they Kick his A!s.

Diane steps up and gets her chance..

Still this is a just my Guess but If some one killed my mother and I had the means to kill them I would not Let my chance pass. Nor Wait to long.

Diane is there Greatest Hunter…. She had means and Motive and was just Waiting Opportunity.

I Believe it was Shocker Zulu who said “if you kill a man, kill his children or they will rise to destroy you.” ( I butchered that Quote)

Bible says “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.”

I have no doubt that when it comes to it, Red Diane will be mighty.

The closer quote by Shaka (Chaka) Zulu is “When you have the dog cowering at your feet, kill it or it will slink off and return as a jackel and leap for your throat” (been a decade or 2 since saw the mini-series, but always remember the part about killing the cowering dog while you have the chance)
